Frequently asked Questions:
- What is unique about the primary care clinic?
-See a Board Certified MD, not a PA or NP
-Doctor Operated Clinic, Not a Corporation
-Doctor makes decisions free from interference from administrators
-Doctor Preserves the Doctor Patient Relationship
-Primary Care Like It Used to Be
-See the same doctor at every visit
- What is different during the medical visit?
The doctor will answer your questions instead of typing into the computer during the visit. Compare our access and in and out time to other clinics.
- Why is your service better then an urgent care?
You can get your medications refilled for months for chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension instead of 7-10 days. You can make a follow-up appointment to obtain good continuity of care. The doctor does a more detailed evaluation for complex conditions then urgent care. We can provide all services provided by urgent care and can send for stat xrays if needed.
- What Obamacare plans do you accept?
Patients having BlueSelect and Humana X can be seen.
- How quickly can I be seen?
Mostly immediately versus waiting weeks for an appointment. Call today to make an appointment. If you are established in a clinic and never get to see a doctor or have to wait longer times in the waiting room then we are a better choice.
- Who operates the clinic and why is this important?
The clinic is doctor operated instead of run by a corporation. We provide more personalized care then hospital or corporate run clinics. The doctor and clinic staff know you as a patient which provides consistency of care. We offer same day visits which reduces ER visits and unnecessary hospitalizations.
- Where are you located?
Google us. The clinic is very visible; a block down from the Walmart & across from Wawa gas station at 2304 East Fletcher Avenue. We have ample free parking for patients.
- Why is it better to have a hand written script instead of e-prescribing?
Patients are able to shop at their convenience for the best price for the medication. This also leads to quick in and out times.
- Does your clinic staff speak Spanish?
We have clinic staff that speak Spanish. Se Habla Espanol.
- What Medicare advantage programs do you have?
Careplus and Wellcare. Not every patient is a good candidate for these programs. Patients should visit the clinic to discuss options. Many patients are better served remaining on Medicare. Medicare Open Enrollment is Oct 15 to Dec 7th.
